Connecticut Bill of Sale

A bill of sale can be used in the state of Connecticut when selling a vehicle. However, it is not a car title and cannot replace it in any way. It simply acts as an extra layer of proof that the sale occurred and was agreed upon. While a bill of sale is offered for download by Connecticut, the state also allows its residents to create one if they so choose. Nevertheless, all of the following aspects must be included: names, addresses, signatures, the car's make, model, body style and year, the VIN, odometer reading and details about the sale.
