Connecticut Traffic Laws

Connecticut has plenty of street laws for you to know before you step out onto the road on a given morning. There are those laws that concern speed. Some of the laws were created in regards to safety. Others were designed for traffic efficiency. Regardless of why they were made, one thing is most important they are all meant to be followed. One thing to keep in mind, though, is the fact that the state of Connecticut has its own laws that you must follow, in addition to those that were issued to the rest of the country. For example, the state decided that snow tire use is allowed only between November 15 and April 30. Another example concerns bicycle helmets. Anyone under the age of 16 is legally required to wear one.
